With the Met Gala recently ending and an abundance of new iconic fashion looks gracing the carpet, Nova thought we would give you our top ten faves from previous years.

Although there was some iconic looks, we thought we would give you out top ten previous favourites from the past 6 years.
1. Lady Gaga at the 2019 Met Gala, the theme was Camp: Notes on Fashion. Before even entering the Met Gala she made a showstopping entrance, as co-hot and changed her outfit four times. She started in a pink Brandon Maxwell gown and proceeded to change multiple times and using a variety of props before finishing with a bedazzled black matching bra and pant set.
2. Zendaya and Law Roach at the 2019 Met Gala. Zendaya also stunned the 2019 Met Gala with her Cinderella ballgown by Tommy Hillfiger. Accompanied by her stylist Law Roach, who was dressed as the fairy god mother, he waved a magic wand and Zendaya’s dress lit up.
3.Kim Kardashian at the 2019 Met Gala. She wore a dress by Thierry Mugler that was designed to look wet. Accompanied by her wet hair look and crystals the Kardashian sister looked like she was emerging from the ocean.
4.Billie Eilish at the 2021 Met Gala, the theme was In America: A Lexicon of Fashion. As co-chair Eilish had a Oscar de la Renta blush gown inspired by Marilyn Monroe and blonde hair a shocking change from her usual style.
5.Lil Nas X at the 2021 Met Gala. Following in Lady Gaga’s footsteps, Lil Nas X showed three different custom Versace outfits. The most memorable of the three being a gold suit of armour.
6.Anok Yai at the 2023 Met Gala, the theme was Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty. Inspired by the 1993 Chanel couture show, Yai wore a stuning Prabal Gurung dress. The gold and silver sequin dress trails into a tulle mermai skirt.
7.Mona Patel at the 2024 Met Gala, the theme was The Garden of Time. The fashion entrepreneur was wearing a Iris Van Herpen stunning gown. The mechanical butterflies on her sleeve moved, as she walked the Met. A memorable and showstopping favourite.
8.Tyla at the 2024 Met Gala. The dress by Balmain made her look like she was wearing sand that had been sculpted directly onto her. It was accompanied with an hourglass bag. Showstopping.
9.Emma Chamberlain at the 2024 Met Gala. Chamberlain returned to the 2024 Met Gala to interview guests and wore a stunning, gothic, nature gown by Jean Paul Gaultier.
